atomz was formed in August 2000 by founding partners Lily Chia and Patrick Lee. Today, four spirited and creative individuals helm the creative and design services agency. Ho Soo Toon, the Group Chief Executive Officer, steers overseas expansion activities. Lily Chia is the Agency Director, while Joseph D’aranjo directs forte, the new subsidiary specialising in identity designs. Finally, Lip Heng Chew is the Chief Operations Officer and Director of interactive arm, carbon.
All four are united by one conviction—that Singapore-based companies can achieve global status, through world-class marketing and design ideas. They are inspired by the atom which, being the smallest element in all life forms, expresses their philosophy that all marketing and design ventures are founded on great ideas.
Over the years, that conviction wrote the atomz success story, complete with an impressive client list of government and blue chip corporate accounts. Their portfolio includes full branding campaigns, exhibition thematic design and environmental design. Communicating through an integration of various channels and platforms, atomz helps clients to revitalise, strengthen and rejuvenate their brands and corporate identities.
From three partners, the team has grown to 26 highly-charged individuals with the vision of inspiring others, constantly discovering new methods and creating valuable designs that surpass the imagination. The home-grown agency has already made an impact on the international media scene, having won 16 awards from the prestigious Creative Annual Publications of the United States. This receives over 7,500 submissions from 40 countries annually and their work is amongst the top 15% of entries.
